General comments
Voor een optimale absorptie van flucloxacilline moet de patiënt nuchter zijn. Kan dit niet (bijvoorbeeld bij continue sondevoeding) dan is amoxicilline + clavulaanzuur een betere optie.
Bij onvoldoende respons op lokale therapie, neem kweek af voordat systemische behandeling wordt gestart
